I have very fond memories of my cousin Kenny. He was someone I looked up to growing up. He had a great sense of humour and a charisma about him that was undeniable. I spent alot of my life at his family home growing up with him and his younger brother Shawn. I was that brat who used to come over and demand his and his brother Shawn's full attention. When we were young the Jones family (Kenny's Mother's side of the family) would get together each Christmas out at our Grandparents home or their cafe that they owned in St. Francois Xavier. It was there that all the cousins, and there are alot of us, would play games with our Aunties, Uncles and Grandparents like Charades, Risk and Password. I can remember the laughter and joy that we all had being together like it was yesterday. I learnt alot of life lessons with my cousins, some good and some that will remain just between us! I often relive my childhood memories with his brother Shawn with coca cola in hand and we laugh at just how great it was and how we want our own kids to have those same kind of memories. Kenny was a big part of that. Those memories will never fade from my mind. Kenny was a great son, brother, uncle and devoted husband, father and grandfather. But to me he was a cousin who I cherished and always will in my heart. I loved you very much Kenny. "Cousins are those childhood playmates who grow up to be forever friends." Life is too short to waste doing nothing and Kenny didn't waste his. He did cherish every moment he had with loved ones and I doubt he never regreted anything in his life. He probably just laughed about it! You will be sadly missed but always in my heart. Love Allison - Posted by: Allison Bryce Buffie (Cousin) on: Aug 21, 2013
