Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRANDY ALEXANDER KOWALSON With sad and peaceful hearts we announce the passing of Randy Alexander Kowalson on Monday, August 19, 2013, at the age of 64 years. Predeceased by his parents David and Ruth, sisters Denise London and Karen Hand and brother Archie Kowalson and various in-laws, Randy leaves Carole, his wife of 43 years, daughter Barbara and son-in-law Michael Borowy to cherish his memory. Also sharing our loss are nephews David Hand (Amy), Robert Hand (Marnie), Warren Kowalson (Helen), Scott Kowalson (Charlotte), Michael Kowalson (Delores), Jeff McNaughton (Carol) and niece Karen Ramirez (Rolando) and their families. Randy will also be missed by brother-in-law Keith Morriss (Karen), Daryl Cripps (Jeff), Wendy Glover (Dwayne), Leona Sandison (Dave), Christine Hallick (Bryce) and Suzanne Stanley (Michael) and their families. Randy worked for 30 years at Canada Post and retired in May, 2004. He made many life-long friends there with whom he enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing pool, lunches and evenings out and lots of laughs. He loved anything to do with cars and regretted selling the ones he owned that later became classics. Dad enjoyed taking road trips and always wanted to make good time, regardless of how badly Carole or Barbara had to use the washroom! Carole and Randy were fortunate to do some travelling over the years and made many wonderful memories together. Family was the most important thing in his life and everyone knew they could depend on him in a crunch. Randy always had a great sense of humour and relied on it to get through the tough times. Unfortunately, we have lost a truly wonderful human being and he will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved him. At this time, the family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at HSC (GD4) as well as the extraordinary teams of the MICU/CCU unit. Their care and compassion was very much appreciated. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Flowers are gratefully declined but the family would encourage donations to the Winnipeg Humane Society or to a charity of your choice in Randy's name. 204-586-8044

Randy and I were good friends for 40 years I will miss him terribly, I was fortunate to spend some time with him a few weeks ago, I will miss him and his interesting sense of humor very much. Carole and Barby my thoughts and prayers are with you, and I will always remember something Randy told me many years ago. My heart goes out to the Kowalson family. I remember the times I spent at your place and I have always thought that you had the greatest parents. Your dad was a wonderful person. He may be gone, but never forgotten and always loved! Carol, Barbara you are in my thoughts and prayers.
