Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAEL S. R. PFAIFFER B.A., B.Sc. Born September 20, 1959 at Royal Victoria Hospital, Montreal, PQ. Died July 19, 2013, peacefully at home in Winnipeg, MB. Michael is survived by his father Rene, brother Peter (Nayda), nieces Claudia and Valery and aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother Nellie. Michael attended the University of Winnipeg, as well as the University of Manitoba. He was a member of various computer groups such as Muddy Waters and Unix and was a volunteer at The Computer Learning Centre. Michael was employed at Canada Department of Supply & Services as a Technical Training Officer and at Manitoba Finance as a Level 5 programmer. He had also been the publisher and co-owner of Digital Civilization Magazine and the owner of Crucible Games. Michael had many friends, too numerous to list. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street.
