ALICE LORETTA BERRY December 24, 1911 - August 25, 2013 With her loving family at her side Alice Berry (Gibney) passed away peacefully on August 25 in Edmonton at the age of 101 years young. Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Bert (Lucille), Bob (Bonnie), Claudia (Jack) Crawley and Judy Smith, her 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Alice was predeceased by her loving husband Ross of 63 years and son-in-law Bob Smith. Alice was born and raised in Canora, SK, one of seven siblings. She moved to Winnipeg completing her RN training at St. Boniface Hospital. She married Ross and raised their family in Winnipeg. Alice worked at Deer Lodge Hospital for many years. Once retired, Alice and Ross divided their time between Sioux Narrows, ON and Yuma, AZ for the better part of 20 years enjoying golf, good times, friends and family. In 2002 Mom moved to Edmonton where she spent her remaining years A private family service to honour our mother will be held at a later date.
