MARGARET ANTOINETTE ARPIN (nee FIRMAN) God now has our Mother in the palm of His loving hands. It is with deep sadness and overwhelming sorrow that we bid goodbye to a loving Mother, Grandmother, sister and aunt on Monday, September 2, 2013. Margaret's will, determination, grace, optimism and a deep faith strengthened her through her courageous battle with cancer. Always thinking of others before herself, Margaret was an inspiration to all of us. She was always ready with a word of encouragement to anyone in need, supporting us and making our days comfortable, when she was the one in much deeper pain, never burdening us with her sorrows. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Emilie Firman, her husband Raymond, her brothers Roger and Henri, her sisters Alice Webb and Irene St-Hilaire and her two nephews Roger St-Hilaire and Charles Firman. They will all be at heaven's door to greet her. Margaret is survived by her children Ramona, Michael, Valerie and Joanne (Rob Loewen), her granddaughters Jasmine Arpin and Bianca Loewen. She is also survived by her loving sister Theresa Belanger as well as many nieces and nephews. Margaret was an inspiration to all of us and we are now blessed with an angel on our shoulder. We know going forward that she will always be there for us. Many thanks to the staff on 6 South at St. Boniface Hospital. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday, September 7, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., at Holy Cross Church, 252 Dubuc St., Rev. Father Martin Bradbury celebrant.
