BARBARA ANN ANDERSON August 5, 1962 - August 6, 2013 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Barbara Ann of Inverness, Scotland on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 just one day after celebrating her 51st birthday with family and friends. Barbara was predeceased by her parents David West Anderson and Phemie Joyce Russell Krahn as well as grandparents, aunts and uncles all formerly of Scotland. Barbara is survived and will be sorely missed by sisters Darlene Anderson Kocsis and Beverly Krahn Mason, nieces and nephews of Canada as well as numerous cousins all of Scotland. Barbara grew up in Hilton Inverness with her father and grandparents and always close by were many family members with whom she had a very close relationship. Barbara was a fun loving spirit who had an infectious smile that could brighten any day. She was best known for her wit, her sense of loyalty and compassion for animals. Barbara enjoyed nights out with friends where she was the life and soul of the party. She loved to travel and spoke often about her adventures in Canada. The family would like to express thanks to the Highland emergency services department for all of their efforts and compassion. Thank you to everyone for all the tributes and kind words shared, it is comforting to know that Barbara was loved and adored by so many.
