WILLIAM (BILL) HARACZAY It is with sadness that we announce the passing of William (Bill) Haraczay on August 26, 2013, at the age of 90. Bill was born in St. Andrews Parish, MB on July 20, 1923 and attended Florence Nightingale School in Winnipeg. He served in the Canadian Forces from 1943 to 1946 where he was part of the Lake Superior Regiment which took him to the Netherlands and Continental Europe during the Second World War. After he completed his service, Bill joined CN Rail where he worked for 37 years until his retirement. Bill met his wife Jean on the bus and they married on February 15, 1969. They enjoyed 38 years of marriage until Jean's passing in 2007. He was also predeceased by his parents Theodore and Pauline. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends (Tara, Johnny and Dave). The Clock of Life The Clock of life is wound but once And no man has the power To tell just where the hands will stop, At late or early hour. To lose one's wealth is sad indeed, To lose one's health is more. To lose one's soul is such a loss As no man can restore. The present only is our own. Live, love, toil with a will. Place no faith in tomorrow' For the clock may then be still.
