SAMUEL BELL Samuel Bell passed away peacefully on Friday, September 6 at the age of 93. Samuel was born on February 22, 1920 in Portadown County Armagh, Northern Ireland. He was predeceased by his wife Mary in 1987. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Lorraine (Steve) and granddaughters Lori and Erin all of Minneapolis, son Robert (Barbara) of Delta, BC, sister May and brother Isaac both of Edmonton, AB, as well as numerous relatives and friends. He left memorable impressions on everyone that he came into contact with. Samuel served with the 13th Canadian Field Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery in the Second World War. He was awarded the C and C Certificate for great "Devotion to Duty" during the campaign in France. Samuel spent many years as a partner with J.G. Conklin & Company as an Independent Insurance Claims Investigator and Adjuster. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at First Memorial Funeral Services, 4725 Falaise Dr. Victoria, BC with burial to follow at Royal Oak Burial Park. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Shriners Pipes and Drums, Shrine House 1155 Wilkes Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3P 1B9.
