Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA LYNN PORTZ It is with deep sorrow that the family of Patricia Lynn Portz announce her unexpected passing on Thursday, September 5, 2013. She leaves to mourn her parents Lloyd and Sibille Portz, siblings, Carolyn Paille, Lyle Portz (Anna), Sandy Wagar (Will), Marianne Wiebe (Lawrence), along with her nieces and nephews, Jeremy, Sandy, Cole, Davis, Samantha, Cody and Nate, and her great-nephew Nathanial. Pat was born in Swan River, MB on May 31, 1955. She graduated from Westwood Collegiate and went on to earn her RN at St. Boniface School of Nursing. She moved to Toronto after graduation to pursue her passion for nursing. She returned to Winnipeg in 1991 to be near her family. Funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Mary Mother of the Church, 85 Kirkbridge Dr., Winnipeg, MB. Dear Portz Family, I am so sorry to hear of Pat's passing. The memories that I personally have of Pat are of her kindness, her nurturing and how she was so genuinely happy to see me after so many years. The thoughts and prayers of your family are with my Mom, Dad and me as you go through this difficult time. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the Funeral Mass as my Dad is coming into Calgary on the same day. We will be thinking of you.
