Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVERNA JEAN MCELROY (nee HOWATT) 1923 2013 On Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Tabor Home in Morden Verna McElroy aged 90 years formerly of Darlingford went to her eternal rest. She was predeceased by her husband Robert McElroy in 2002 and four sisters. She leaves to mourn her passing two daughters, Gloria and Mel Johnston of Manitou, Mavis and Greg Scharf of Portage La Prairie, two sons Darrell and Lori McElroy of Morden and Brian and Myra McElroy of Darlingford as well as nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one brother. Viewing will from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, 1050 Thornhill St. in Morden. Memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Zion Calvin United Church in Darlingford with a private family interment at Darlingford Cemetery. Sorry to read obit in Free Press. Condolences to all family. Bob, Verna and us had many good times together and many really good memories.
