Rich or Stingray was a very close friend of mine. We recorded a record in 1982 with Onyx. He was a big intimidating man...was my bodyguard...but that smile gave him away to his friends. You needed help...he was there. He was the youngest in the band by three months of me. We played with older players a testament to his talent. I'll never forget our first paying gig at the East Selkirk hotel....we killed. Rich, Joey, Swysten brothers and me. He helped launch my career and I am doing all right playing Vegas. RNR. Rest in Rock n Roll my friend...Love Skip - Posted by: Skip ISFELD (FREIND LEAD SINGER OF ONYX) on: Sep 17, 2013

The Loss Of A Cousin © Collette N. Alaniz My eyes filled up with tears as I heard the news It never occurred to me, how much I could lose I find myself wishing that it wasn't real Every time I think about it, pain is all I can feel But my heart tells me that he'll always be with me I’m glad he feels no pain now-he lives in a perfect land I will love and miss him forever Until the day we are again together. Together in that perfect place above, Filled with caring, sharing and love But until that day comes- I will wipe my tears away. And hopefully see him again someday RIP Rick.
