• I met Josanne when she was 12 years old, we were at Seven Oaks Center for youth. I remember being intimidated at first because she was bigger and looked tough, it didn't take long though to figure out that she was one of the most gentle souls I ever met. We promised each other that when we left Seven Oaks we would stay in touch and that is what we did for the last 20 years. Josanne had struggled most of her life but even through adversity she had a smile or a laugh. Josanne taught me the meaning of resilience and I am so blessed for having had her in my life. I am a better person because I knew Josanne. Jos, I miss you so much and it is still hard to even accept that you're no longer here, I love you so much and I hope that you are no longer in pain and are finally at peace.
