BRENT PATERSON November 7, 1948 September 18, 2013 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Brent Paterson on September 18, 2013. He will be loved and remembered always by his wife Marjorie; daughter Kate (Stephen) and granddaughter Mckenna. Brent worked at Assiniboine Credit Union with great pride. He valued the many relationships that he developed with colleagues and clients in the business community. Outside of work his passions were attending the Jets games and golfing with his son-in-law Stephen, friends and colleagues. He was thrilled to attend the Masters and other PGA events in recent years with his dear friend, Dan Sie. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, particularly his one-year-old granddaughter Mckenna, who recently learned to call him "'Pa". They liked walking together and exploring the world around them. Mckenna could always bring a smile to grandpa's face. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Winnipeg Jets True North Foundation or the Winnipeg Humane Society. Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Funeral Home and Crematorium 843 Sherbrook Street, 204774-7474 Condolences: www.bardal.ca

Brent was our friend through working with him close to 30 years at ACU. Brent was a very gentle, kind man who always tried to be of assistance to us. He had a great way to do business and he will be missed. I will miss going for the lunches. Our heartfelt condolences to the family. I had the privelege of working with Brent for 4 years in the Business Loan Centre at ACU. Those were some of the best years of my career. Brent believed in my abilities and valued my opinions. He encouraged me to think outside the box and to trust my instincts. He was a supportive boss and a great teacher. He had a wicked sense of humour and we never failed to have a laugh or two daily. He believed in his clients and was not afraid to go to bat for them. Although we didn't see each other a lot in the last several years, he never failed to say hi or chat when we did. He was a strong believer in the values of ACU and will be sorely missed. To his family; Brent will forever be in the hearts of many. May the memories give you comfort. My sincere sympathies are with you. Rest in peace Brent. You will be missed. - Posted by: Wendy Olson (Colleague) on: Sep 21, 2013
