  • I had the privilege to work and then to get to know Shirl on a personal basis. She always took the time to listen and empathize when the going got rough but also knew how to have fun. She will be sorely missed and left us too soon. Sleep well beautiful my friend. - Posted by: Loretta Dawe (Friend/Co worker) on: Oct 12, 2013

  • I had the privilege of working with Shirley and becoming close friends and then family by choice. She spent many a holiday with our family and we all loved her dearly. Life was not very fair to her but she lived it to the fullest and laughed despite it all. The world is less with her passing but the heavens will be much more lively. - Posted by: Penny Adams (friend) on: Sep 21, 2013
