DOREEN MEYERS (nee GILL) September 10, 1925 - September 18, 2013 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Doreen, just after celebrating her 88th birthday. Doreen is survived by her daughter Carolyn McFee; grandchildren Kirk McFee of Calgary, AB and Erin McFee of White Rock, BC, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Robert in 1998; son Gary; sisters Violet and Emily and brothers Bill, Henry and Richard. Doreen was born in Victoria and lived there until moving to Winnipeg in 1945. Doreen and Bob enjoyed 55 years of marriage. Some of their most memorable times were spent with their group of good friends made at Dorothy Lake. Mom loved her home and garden and took great care to make it a welcoming place. In August last year, she moved to The Parkway Assisted Living and was just starting to feel at home. There will be no formal service.
