DR. SANG SUL KANG Dr. Sang Sul Kang passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, AB on Friday, September 20, 2013 at the age of 85 years. He is survived by his wife, Soon Ok, three children and six grandchildren. Dr. Kang worked as a medical doctor at the Manitoba Developmental Centre in Portage La Prairie, MB for 30 years and was the Medical Director for the last 10 years. He retired in June, 1994 and relocated to Calgary, AB. He enjoyed his retirement years both travelling and playing golf. A Funeral Service will be held at the Korean First Presbyterian Church, 1411 69 Street S.W., Calgary, AB on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca. I will always remember his devotion to his family. He made the choice early in his career, to practice his profession in a position that would allow him to spend time with his wife and children. He was a great doctor, and an even better father. Thank you for the privilege of allowing me to be a part of that.
