Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN PAUL MARLEAU July 4, 1943 - September 24, 2013 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 70 years. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Edna of 49 years, daughter Michele (Lutz Joachim), grandchildren, Darryl (Genevieve) and Vanessa (Cole); daughter Sherry, grandchildren John and Kristina; son Tommy (Dainna Drul); daughter Jeanette, granddaughter Sammy; and his precious gift, his great-granddaughter, Juliette, born to his first grandson Darryl and wife Genevieve in June 2012. John was so proud of his family and would always say "love you all". We appreciate everything you have done for us and your love and kindness lives on through each of us forever. You are a special person and we miss you very much. Interment will be held at a later date.

I think about you everyday, Grandpa. It seems like it has not gotten any easier, and I miss you more and more with each day that passes. I know you are here with all of us, in everything we do, everything we live through, and everything we experience. The memories we shared, will be held in my heart forever. Good-bye my friend. You were always there for everyone who called on you. Your generosity was endless. Your positive attitude was always contagious. Whe ever we left your home after a usually long visit we left with our spirits lifted as though we visited royalty. Your hospitality and encouragement will never be forgotten. You were a big part of our family in the beginning when our children were small. Then life's choices took us away to a far away place to start a new life. Life became busy but we never forgot your friendship. Your name was always a part of many conversations when we talked about building and designing new things. Your talent had always inspired us. You introduced us to your beautiful wife Edna and your children, whom you were so proud of.
