Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE (BORAYKO) DIDUR January 4, 1924 - September 5, 2013 Aged: 89 Born in Creighton Mines, ON Anne was raised in Winnipeg and married Morris Didur in 1943. He predeceased her in Waco, TX in 1983. There are three surviving children: Jo-Anne (Brian) Somerville of Stony Plain, AB, Judy (Richard) Chapman of Toronto, ON, and Bob (Merry) Didur of Winnipeg, MB. Eight grandchildren: Kirstin (Terry) Detert of Stony Plain, AB, Whitney (Christie) Somerville of Saskatoon, SK, Carrisa (Kevin) Bender of Dundas, ON, Christopher Chapman of New York City, NY, Paul Chapman of Toronto, ON, Shane Didur of Minneapolis, MN, Farrah Didur of Winnipeg, MB and Ryan (Leslie) Didur of Las Vegas, NV and eight great-grandchildren: Noah and Braeden Detert of Stony Plain, AB, Thomas Somerville of Saskatoon, SK, Lauren and Trevin Didur of Minneapolis, MN, and Jordan, Summer and Nicholas Didur of Winnipeg, MB, as well as her sister Nellie. Anne and Morris spent over 20 years in The Pas, MB at The Avenue and The Cambrian Hotels. They spent some time in Ladner, BC and eighteen years at the Holiday Lodge Motel in Waco, TX. For the past 10 years Anne has resided in Stony Plain, AB where she lived a lively and productive life, making many wonderful friends at her aquasize classes, the Legion cribbage nights and at the Stony Senior Centre. She enjoyed travel to Toronto, Waco and Phoenix but most of all she enjoyed her family. She will be greatly missed. At her request there was not a service but a Celebration of her Life was held at her home in Stony Plain on Saturday, Sept. 7. Her ashes were interred at Brookside Cemetery in Winnipeg in the Borayko family plot.
