MYRTLE LILLIAN GARETH CAINE (ARNOLD) -
Date of Passing: Sep 16, 2013
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMYRTLE LILLIAN GARETH CAINE (ARNOLD) 1923 - September 16, 2013 Perpetually kind, thoughtful, most accommodating. A practitioner of patience and compassion. Myrtle's life embodied giving; to her kids, Larry (Signi) and Shannon (Bob), the rarest of commodities - unconditional love. Her time, care and more love to grandchildren Dixon, Jonina, Tynan, and Soren. All who knew Myrtie will remember her ever-present smile and "sunny" disposition. Mom always knew her "own true worth", and so do we. Predeceased by loyal husband Larry Sr. Also by sisters Alberta and Zenith. Special thanks to the many "silent heroes" of Home Care. Help us celebrate Myrtle at Signi and Larry's home, Sunday, September 29, 1:00-3:00. For details please go to - remembermyrt@gmail.com.

Our family branch has been wondering about your family branch. It was sad to find that Myrtle had passed on, but after searching for Alda's family, also nice to finally know. Myrtle was very highly spoken of by my grandmother, Doris (Johnston) Moore/Melnick, by James Stelck, by Jean (Johnston) Schalbrack, and very fondly remembered by Myrtle (Johnston) Messig's family in the US. Belatedly, we send wishes of wellness to your family. - Posted by: Karen Mitchell (1st cousin, twice removed) on: Oct 01, 2016

Shannon and Larry, I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mom was a lovely lady who always had a smile when we met on the street and a pleasant word for all. I really missed her when she moved from Keating Ave. Sincerely, Carolyn Gurney - Posted by: Carolyn Gurney (Neighbour) on: Oct 02, 2013

I'm Free Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free. I'm following the path God has laid you see. I took his hand when I heard His call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found the peace at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy, a friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, O yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much, good friends, good times, a loved ones touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief. Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee. God wanted me now: He set me free... Till we meet again. We love and miss you tons already Shannon & Bob - Posted by: Shannon & Bob Doherty (Daughter & Son-in-law) on: Sep 28, 2013
