Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHEILA MARGUERITA MURPHY (BREADNER) August 25, 1928 September 26, 2013 Peacefully and embraced by the love of her family, Mom passed away into God's glorious Kingdom on Thursday, September 26 at the age of 85. She is survived by her four children, Kerry (Bob) Green, Wendy, Michael (Debby) and Gerry (Fred deceased) Demchuk. She was also loving and proud grandmother and Shoo Shoo' to grandchildren Patty, Scott, Erin (Marlon), Ryan, Sean, Kelly and Mandy (Jeff) and great-grandmother to Mitchell, Lucas, Nevaeh, Markez, Aiden, Sierra and Bryden. She was predeceased by Dad (Dick), mother Frances and father George. Mom was born in Victoria, BC on August 25, 1928. She and Dad married on March 27, 1948 and made St. James their home. Mom was employed by the Federal Government in various positions: Department of Defence, Department of Agriculture and the Dominion Bureau of Statistics. Mom had a successful real estate career for over 25 years and after retiring, was appointed to the Board of Revision for over eight years. Mom loved the Lord and was a member of Silver Heights United Church for over 50 years, including singing in the choir, 12 years as Session Member, Bible Study, UCW, arranging the yearly Card Party, Fowl Supper and anything else that needed doing. She spent many years on the Executive of Silver Heights Community Club, Grace Hospital volunteer for ten years and Meals on Wheels volunteer for ten years. Mom and Dad were blessed with great, lifelong friendships. Although Mom and Dad holidayed in Barbados, Florida, Texas and Arizona their most favourite place in the world was Clear Lake where we had our family cottage Robin's Nest' for over 60 years. Mom loved to spend her summers there where she would plant the most beautiful flower pots and window boxes every year. Mom fought vigorously for the Clear Lake Cottage Owners Association, was involved with the Historical Society and the Ladies Golf League. She was always there when help was needed! Mom was the most kind and generous person and would do anything for anyone. We would like to thank the staff on 4A at Holy Family Home for their compassion and care, especially in Mom's final days. Also, thank you so much to Mom's very special friends Garth and Clare Classon and Freddie Miller and to her Church family for always keeping her in their thoughts and prayers. We will miss her, but love knows no bounds and she will be with us always in our hearts. We know she'll now be reunited with Dad. A service of celebration will be held at Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch, Sunday, September 29 at 2:30. Your gift to Silver Heights United Church, Holy Family Home or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, And rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand. (Irish Blessing)

Dear Kerry, Wendy, Michael, Gerry and families, Your mom was a favorite of mine from way back when in the good old days of Clear Lake when my father, Vic Binkley, golfed with your dad. She was always so kind, gracious and warm to me growing up at the lake. When I was "formally" invited to join the Clear Lake Ladies Club, your mom took it upon herself to make sure I was enjoying my rounds of golf with the members. It was always a treat to have a visit with her at her beloved cottage or one of the golfing socials. She will always hold a very special place in my heart; I will miss her very much. My deepest condolences to you all, Laurie Binkley - Hooke - Posted by: Laurie and Kevin Hooke (nee Binkley) (Clear Lake Ladies Golfing Club member) on: Oct 01, 2013
