DORIS LEONA SHOULDICE February 23, 1915 - September 22, 2013 (98 years) Doris Leona Shouldice (nee Olson) has left us to join Howard, her loving husband of 67 years. She is survived by her daughter, Ferryl (Casselman) (Bill), and sons, David (Carol) and Rod (Jill); grandchildren Billy (Elizabeth), Tristan (Jenna), Rosie, and Kaspar; great-grandchildren Olivia and Liam; as well as her brothers, Verne and Virgil (Dorie). Doris was born in Nora, Saskatchewan, and spent her early life in Fargo, North Dakota. Her family returned to Saskatchewan where she met her husband in 1939. They moved to Winnipeg where Howard joined the air force in 1942. Doris enjoyed many years with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had many hobbies: painting, gardening, baking, knitting, swimming and sewing. She was an accomplished artist, and many people have her artwork adorning their walls. Her sense of humour and kind disposition were qualities we all loved. She enjoyed good health until her passing and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She lived her life well.
