MARY SPIKULA It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Spikula on October 2, 2013 at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 92 years with her family at her side. Mary was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband William and is survived by her sons Donald (Nadia), James (Darcy). grandchildren Catherine (Kevin), Colin (Maribel), Laura, Stephen, and stepgrandchildren James and Tammy. Great- grandchildren Jaiden, Logan and Olivia. Sister Olga and brother Vladmir. She will be dearly missed by all. The family wishes to express our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Maples Personal Care Home and Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion given to Mary. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in her memory to CancerCare Manitoba. Private family services of behalf of Korban Funeral Chapel. Phone #204-956-2193.

Ten years later, I am now remembering her contributions to the prolife crusade and how much I admired her commitment to this. I wish I had expressed this to her directly.
