Although John passed in 2013, I only came across the obituary recently and we were all shocked. I am the daughter of a very dear friend of John's from Rosemount - Shirley Sundborg - and we offer our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. My mother, Shirley, has many wonderful memories of her friendship with John, Since they lived across the back lane from each other, their families were quite close as they all grew up together. I wonder if you have any photos of John from recent years that you might kindly share with us? They would be so dearly appreciated. If you do, it would be so great if you could email them to the email address given above. Surely you now have a void in your lives where such a brilliant and gentle man once resided. Our thoughts and prayers go with you.
