When I returned home from your memorial service- my heart filled with sadness--I looked out our kitchen window ---there I saw a beautiful tree, its leaves a glorious golden colour--as though it was shimmering as the sunlight filtered through---I smiled and decided at that moment I will call this tree: PHILIP'S TREE! A few moments ago I looked at your tree Philip---it stands glorious-- 2 years since that day --that moment--I find comfort & solace now. I know you are with our Lord and you walk with HIM through fields of gold. I miss you dear friend Till we meet again Love never ends Love eternal. Rest peacefully---no goodbyes Paula - Posted by: Paula Meyer (Friend) on: Oct 10, 2015

I used to spend countless hours in the engineering library, Phil was always there to help me out looking for books and chatting. What an amazing / kind person. Phil I wish I could have taken you out to Brereton, we always talked about that and it just never materialized. - Posted by: Tom (Friend) on: Oct 24, 2014

My condolences to Robert and family. Phil and I were very good friends and classmates through junior and senior high, but we drifted when we went our separate ways at U of M. I remember him as an intelligent, kind, fun-loving character with a unique sense of humour. R.I.P. Phil - Posted by: Ed Zuke (friend) on: Oct 05, 2013
