  • I am a cousin to Joan and unfortunately I only heard of this on Friday night and so could not attend the funeral as it already had passed. May Joan finally have peace and Norm and family let her memory live on within. Auntie Lilian, good thing you are a strong woman as I am sure this is not easy. • Our love & prayers go to Norm, Sean & Jen, Samantha & Danene and grandchildren. Joan has passed on to each of her children and grandchildren a heritage of faith. What a blessing that she was able to see each one of you come to personal faith in Christ. We know that you will miss her dearly. • I will miss Joan so much, but know that now she has the healing she prayed and believed for. I will always remember her as a loving selfless woman of God. Every time I would see her she would ask about my family and myself before she would speak of her own struggles-that has always amazed me as she was going through so much. God's blessings to her beautiful family as they grieve and and remember Joan- loving mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, and sister. - Posted by: Anna Funk (friend) on: Oct 10, 2013
