GLADYS (MAE) GRACE VINCE (nee ANDERSON) The family announces the peaceful passing of Gladys (Mae) Grace Vince on September 28, 2013 at the age of 92 years. Her passing marks the 41st anniversary of the passing of her beloved husband Harry. She was looking forward to being reunited with Harry and her grandson Ryan, whom she has missed terribly the last three and one half years. Mae is survived by her son Jeff (Linda), their children Kimberly and Russell; son Dave (Nancy), Dave's daughter Kellie; foster daughter Megan (Maxine); great-grandson Logan; brother William (Muriel); and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents William and Caroline Anderson; husband Harry; sister Delores; and grandson Ryan (Logan's father). Mom enjoyed many years of comfort and friendship at Serena Towers 55+ Complex. The family especially recognizes the acts of kindness by Lillian McDougall. We also thank the Eastern Star visitation committee. Mom was a member of the Eastern Star until her passing. We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the staff and volunteers of the Middlechurch Personal Care Home for providing Mom a safe and caring environment during the last months of her life. Per Mom's wishes, a small, intimate memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or to a charity of one's choice. REST IN PEACE MOM Cropo Funeral Chapel 204-586-8044

  • Am so sorry to learn of Mae's passing. She was a grand lady and there are some fond memories for me in the past. I always tried to remember her with funny cards on special days and hope she enjoyed them. She was a good person. - Posted by: brian moir (friend) on: Oct 14, 2013
