RENE PETER DEFOORT On October 5th, 2013, Rene Peter Defoort passed away at the age of 73. He is mourned by wife Gail (nee Walker); children Lisa, Brent and Laurie; grandchildren Spencer (Jamal) and Kinley, Trem, Quincy, Zadok, Xander and Adriana; also nieces, nephews and in-laws. He was predeceased by infant son Mark, parents and all siblings. Rene was a machinist at CPR for 35 years. He spent countless hours in his garage working on family and friends vehicles, barking orders to "check the oil!" His teasing will be missed. An interment was held on October 10th at Belgium Sacred Heart Cemetery. Songs and poems were recited to celebrate Dad's life. A special CPR train and family mementoes were placed with Dad. Although our hearts are broken, we realize it's Mark's turn to be with our Dad. Your family and the many pets you cherished will welcome you home. Cropo Funeral Chapel 204-586-8044
