Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFREDA NICKLIN (nee BUELOW) 1918 2013 Peacefully, on Saturday, October 12, 2013, at the Tabor Home in Morden, MB, with daughter Wilma by her side, Mom started her next journey. Freda was born December 5, 1918, the youngest of seven children (all deceased). Her mother died when she was 22 months old and she and her siblings were raised by their father. In 1938 she married Helgi (Bill) Nicklin and from this union, five children who mourn her loss, were born. Dale (Cairine), Joyce (James) Buhr, Donna (Bud) Barkley, Wilma (Bill) Lyall, Wally (Shirley). Also mourning her loss are 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Also, special niece, Joyce Ehnes. She was predeceased in 1985 by her husband Helgi, and in 2009 by great-grandson Brett Duncan. The family wishes to say a special thank you to Donna (Bud) for all the care they gave to mom in the 20 years she lived in Morden. This care enabled her to stay in her home until January of this year. Also, a big thank-you to grandson Doug Barkley for always being there for grandma. A private family service was held on Friday October 18 at Wiebe Funeral Home.
