  • The words "sadly missed" echoe deeply through me and certainly resonate amomg Cyril's many friends. "Cuff" and I formed a close friendship over the many earlier years of fishing- a past-time he truly enjoyed and so do I. He continued to indulge this favorite sport of his with friends even up to the summer of his passing. Of his enduring qualities, "Cuff" was a peace-maker, always striving to help other with sage words of advice; to resolve differences, conflicts....that life was too short to harbor resentment. He was kind and generous almost to a fault, and those qualities did not go un-noticed. Always with a smile in greeting; always the "rock" of support in times when "you needed a friend". I was privileged to have met and honored to say I was "Cuff's" friend...and will always remember him as my dear FRIEND. - Posted by: Donovan Hale (family friend) on: Oct 20, 2013
