Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOAQUIM FERNANDES March 12, 1942 - October 18, 2013 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joaquim on October 18, 2013 at the age of 71. Joaquim leaves to mourn his passing his wife, children and grandchildren. He was born in Portugal and moved to Canada in 1971 later bringing his young family in 1973 to Winnipeg. The family wishes to thank the staff in the MICU/CCU at the Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion. A service will be held on Wednesday, October 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Joaquim's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044
