Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANTONIO JOAQUIM GUEDES October 21, 1946 October 20, 2013 It is with great sadness we announce the peacefully passing of Antonio Joaquim Guedes on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at the age of 66 years. Antonio is survived by his beloved wife Maria Jose, children, Maria da Costa (Casmiro), Paulo (Roxanne), Pedro, Carla Monaster (Jeffrey), Anna (Garth) and Nelia, his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, step-mother, three brothers and three sisters as well as many other family and friends. He was born in Azores, moving to Canada in the late 70s. Antonio was the most loving and generous man. We were blessed to have known him. His love of soccer was unsurpassed and devotion to family was well known. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Antonio's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue. Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 24 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on October 25 at 9:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin Street N. Interment to follow in Assumption Cemetery. 204-586-8044
