JOHN CHARLES JOPP 1938 - 2013 It is with great sorrow, we announce the passing of John Jopp. He had undergone open heart surgery and had multiple major complications. He left us on Sunday, October 27, at Foothills Hospital ICU, Calgary, Alberta. He was born in Manitou, MB on May 28, 1938 to Charles and Myrtle Jopp, and lived for four years at Kaleida, then the family moved to Snowflake, MB where he received his education and Grade 12 at Pilot Mound. Jack attended University of Manitoba and taught school in Winnipeg and Churchill. He moved to BC. And later Alberta, residing in Drumheller for the last few years. He is survived by his wife Marg and son Camden, wife Amy and grandchildren Dallas and Cami, and Sarah and Kaitlin, daughters of Jack and Marg's late son Brent. Marg's family, brothers Lloyd and Jeannette Roche and Gordon and Audrey Roche. Jack is also survived by sister Joyce and husband Jack Keating, Carman, brother Jim and wife Barbara, Mesa AZ. and brother Jeff and wife Velma, Estevan, Sask. and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at a later date. "Death leaves a heart ache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal."
