DAVID WIGGINS On Saturday, October 26, 2013, David Wiggins passed away at Health Sciences Centre following a battle with lung cancer at the age of 64 years. David will be sadly missed by his daughters Elana Spence (Jeff) and Katherine Kennedy (Bill); and grandchildren Ella, Sam, Rachel and Allison. He was predeceased by his wife Mary-Ann (Carpenter) and his parents Catherine (McKay) and Stanford. Dave was a lover of music and camping. Throughout his life Dave worked a number of jobs including Harold Loyns Furrier, Schneider Foods and as a driving instructor - including teaching his teenage daughters. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Contact Elana Spence at elanaspence@shaw.ca or 204-663-8455 for more information. No dearer friend existed for me. We knew each other for the last 50 to 60 years. Living in New York City limited the times we were able to get together, but we managed to see each other when I was able to get back to Winnipeg for visits with my family. I will sorrowly miss David's friendship, he was like a brother to me. David you are truly with the Angels now and at peace, God Bless!
