STELLA SMALL (nee DUBOWSKI) 1921 - 2013 With family by her side, Stella, passed away, at the Fisher Personal Care Home, at 92 years of age. Stella is predeceased by her husband Paul, parents Harry and Mary Small, brothers Phillip, Stanley, Bill, Peter, Joseph, Walter, and Mike. She is survived by her sons Eddie, Stanley (Donna), Steve (Linda), and Ronnie (Bertha), numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends. Stella was born and raised on the family farm in Fisher Branch. She married Paul in 1938 and they lived on the farm until 1981. They moved into town, when they retired in 1981. Stella worked as a cook in Ashern for the educational trailers. She also cooked in the Interlake Motor Hotel. She loved visits from her family and always cooked up a storm for them. Paul and Stella were a big part in helping in activities at the Ukrainian National Home in Fisher Branch. A celebration of Stella's life will be held Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the Ukrainian National Home at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor James Thiessen officiating.
