Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDMEE MELINA MARIE BENOIT (née DESROCHERS) Peacefully at the Manitou Personal Care Home on Monday, October 28, 2013, Mrs. Edmée Benoit of Altamont, Manitoba passed away at the age of 83 years. To cherish her memory she leaves to mourn seven children: Denis (Patricia), Hank (Ava), Rick (Jocelyne), Joanne (Wayne) Massing, Carole Rondeau, Allin (Cathy) and Diane Benoit-Hill; 11 grandchildren: Lorelei, Nick, Amanda, Shawn, Serena, Michael, Andrew, Lisa, Kayla, Alexia and Tegan; and four great-grandchildren: Carrissa, Audriana, Xavier and Emmet. She also leaves to mourn two brothers: Fern (Marguerite) and Rick (Mary); two sisters: Nora and Rita (Ernie); one brother-in-law Joseph (Agathe); four sisters-in-law: Cecile, Emelda, Madeleine and Germaine; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband Alexandre, and by one grandson Jeremy Rondeau. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Mariapolis Roman Catholic Church on Monday, November 4, 2013. Prayers at 10:30 a.m., Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment in the Parish Cemetery with Father Chris Nwosu officiating.
