I feel privileged to have known Edith. We met at McClure United Church and were both involved in the UCW. Edith was involved with the handicraft table at the bazaar for many years and she was a pleasure to work with. She was a practical and caring woman and could always be counted on to honour a commitment. She and Lloyd were a remarkable couple. Every Sunday she would look forward to having a hotdog for lunch! My condolences to the family. It was a sad day when Edith left McClure. - Posted by: Jackie (Fellow UCW Member ) on: Nov 03, 2013

I remember Edith as a sweet, funny lady coming to visit us. My dad, as a single man of 27 had adopted Lloyd as a boy of three so he was more like an uncle than a brother. Edie and Lloyd were an example of true love, bless their memories. - Posted by: Inga Bjornson (Sister-in-law, Lloyd's sister) on: Nov 02, 2013

I would just like to share what an amazing woman my auntie Edith was. She never judged anyone and had a heart of gold. Her and my uncle still held hands and kissed each other goodbye up until his passing. They are a beautiful example of true love and I will treasure them in my heart always. - Posted by: Dawn (Great neice) on: Oct 31, 2013
