GUDRUN HALLA JOHNSON May 4, 1927 - October 29, 2013 Gunna was a warm, loving, mom, Amma and Lang Amma. She was full of love for all. She took great pride in her family. Gunna leaves behind her son Emil (Karen), daughter Cindy, grandchildren Trina (James), Tina and Kevin. Her great-grandchildren Autumn, Brady and Sidney. She will be sadly missed by all! She is also survived by her sister Asa (Walter), brother Daniel, sister-in-law Dorothy and numerous nieces and nephews. Gunna was predeceased by her son Wayne, husband Bjorn, mother Bjorg, father Magnus, stepfather Gisli, brothers Siggi, Gisli, an infant brother and son-in-law Kevin. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Funeral service will be at the Riverton-Hnausa Lutheran Church, Riverton, Manitoba on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Donna Smalley officiating. If friends desire donations may be made to Northern Cancer Research Foundation through the Stevens Funeral Homes P.O. Box 412, Dryden ON P8N 2Z1. So sorry for your loss Cindy. You were an amazing daughter to a very wonderful mother. Your caring, kind ways were always there for her. I miss seeing her outside, checking on her flowers and plants. Sitting on the steps with kids when they were younger. My dad always had a good chat with her when he came. Bryan always talked about her when he and Kevin were younger and wished he had an Omma like her.
