ROSS DARYL BOAST R.C.A.F. Veteran and retired teacher, born 1927 passed away at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital in British Columbia on October 25, 2013, with his family at his side. Ross is predeceased by his mother, Bertha Alice Boast (nee Noble) and his father James Maxwell Boast. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Lori, and sons Brian and Barry, Barry's wife Michelle, grandchildren Hailey and TJ, his loving dog, Pookie, as well as his many wonderful friends and extended family. He was my grade 10 to 12 teacher. It is said that there are about 6 people in our lives that profoundly affect who we are. Ross Boast was one of these for me. He believed in me and showed me what I was capable of achieving. He saw what others did not and made sure I saw it too.
