Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAUDREY ANDERSON Audrey Anderson (nee Hadden), of Gabriola Island, BC, died Tuesday, October 29, 2013 after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer. Audrey was born of the late Wallace and Violet Hadden, November 23, 1945 in Beausejour, MB. She was the ninth born of 10 children. Audrey spent her childhood in St. Rita, MB which was also known as Craig Siding or sometimes just "Craig" when she was younger. Audrey is survived by her sons Glenn Anderson of Vancouver, BC and Guy Anderson of Surrey, BC, and her in-laws Richard Williams and Liah Anderson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Audrey was well travelled having lived in Germany for five years and moved about considerably in Canada having had residencies in Beausejour, Gypsumville, Transcona, Brandon, Lethbridge, and Gabriola Island. She had her hand in many endeavours, ranging from a telephone operator in Beausejour, MB to running a car wash/detailing business for many years in Brandon, MB. She will not be forgotten by so many whose lives were enriched by meeting and knowing her and left saddened with her loss. There will be a service at her former residence Saturday, November 23 on Gabriola Island. Friends wishing to attend are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society.

Audrey and I were always together in childhood. We lived approximately a city block from each other. We were as close as sisters. I will miss talking with her. However she will always be in my heart. We are so very sorry to hear of Audrey's passing. We were so happy to see her in September when she was here. My husband Ernie grew up in Craig and knew Audrey very well. So very sad to hear that my Auntie Audrey has passed away. Glenn and Guy, I am so very sorry for your loss. Wish I could be with you on the 23rd to celebrate your Mom's life.
