Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWINNIFRED ELAINE COBBETT (nee REIMER) Sadly on Saturday, November 9, 2013, our mother, grandma and great-grandma, Winnifred "Winnie" Elaine, passed away quietly in her sleep. She leaves to mourn her five children, Robert, Marnie, Clinton (Kathy), Curtis (Debbie), and Cheryl, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, sister Sharon Kasdorf, nieces and nephews. The family of Winnie would like to thank the staff and volunteers at Golden Door Geriatric Centre for all their care and support over the years. Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. Elaine was my grandmother. I was adopted out of the family, but was born to Cheryl. My grandmother was a wonderful woman to me and my children ( her great-grandchildren ). I found her when i was 26...and she and I were as close as two could be for being a country away.
