Gord was one of the nicest and friendliest customers to ever shop at FoodFare. Even though I barely knew Gord, he was one of the regular customers that I will never forget. Each morning he would come in with a smile on his face, friendly and kind as always, striking up conversation and making the job feel worthwhile by getting to talk to people like him. Rest in peace Gord, you will be missed! - Posted by: Marisa Cantafio () on: Nov 19, 2013

Even though it has been many years, my memories of having Gordy as a friend still remain. All those years of going fishing, hunting or just hanging around together will forever remain as great memories. The old gang (Loyd, Dennis, Lorne, Donny, Wally, John and myself) will certainly miss you. Those hunting trips to Loyd's grandparents farm near Gimli, or Dennis's grandparents farm in Elkorn. We all had a lot of fun in those days. Take care Gordy, we will meet again someday. - Posted by: Allan and Donna Semkiw (Friend) on: Nov 14, 2013

Do not stand at my grave and weep; I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn’s rain. When you awaken in the morning’s hush, I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; May the departed soul rest in peace. He will be missed... - Posted by: Lissa Cychowski (Friend ) on: Nov 14, 2013

Gordy was a great friend to my son Ron. I know his passing will be hard on Ronnie as he will be sadly missed by my son. Ron truly looked up to Gordy and loved hanging out with him, listening to him and laughing with him. - Posted by: Judy Emes (friend) on: Nov 14, 2013
