Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • As a young city kid growing up in Winnipeg, I did not know much about farming. Having the chance to visit Linda & Phil's was a learning experience for me. I remember learning a thing or two about all that equipment! Phil seemed to us to be a serious man focused on family, farming and politics. You had to be prepared for an intelligent conversation with him if you got into one! :) I do remember his laugh and sense of humour. Brenda and I were fortunate to have had a visit from Linda and Phil at our home in Calgary this past summer with Lily and John. My memory of Phil remains the same as it was this past summer. Solid and strong. Rest well Phil. - Posted by: Gerry Barker (Brother-in-law) on: Nov 16, 2013
