WILLIAM ERNEST BERGSTROM William "Bill" Ernest Bergstrom passed in peace in his residence at the Villa Youville in Ste. Anne, MB, Sunday November 10, 2013. He was surrounded by his loving daughters, and preceded in death by his wife Carrie. Bill will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving father and grandfather. Bill was thoroughly interested in politics and Union movement in Manitoba. He enjoyed watching anything on A&E or the History Channel. William was born February 14, 1928 in Winnipeg, MB. Raised in Winnipeg Beach by his mom Gladys Olson (deceased). Having retired from his role of Journeyman electrician, he moved from Winnipeg to Paradise Village, Ste Annes in 2006 where he enjoyed reading, gardening, volunteering with the residence council of Paradise Village and visits from his family. A special thank you to Sisters Rioux and Vermette for their loving care and support, and the dedicated staff of the Villa Youville. Bill will be laid to rest in Winnipeg Beach Cemetery with his wife. At his request, a private family service will be held. Still loved, dearly missed, never forgotten.
