ERIC PAUL CHAMPAGNE With heavy hearts we are sad to announce the sudden passing of Eric Paul Champagne, aged 61 years, on Monday, November 11, 2013, surrounded by family at the Health Sciences Centre. Eric is survived by his loving family: wife Nicole (nee LeGras); mother Alice (Tommy) (nee Yorke); father Paul J.; sisters Corinne (Randy), Pauline (Clive); brother Paul; nieces Madi and Haley; uncles Ronny, Ray; aunts Joyce (George), Nancy (Ken), aunt-in-law Ingrid; sisters-in-law Lorraine (Howard), Evelyn (Lloyd), Jacqueline (Richard); brother-in-law Ronald (Betty) and many nieces and nephews. Eric was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Cleophas and Lucy; maternal grand-parents Sidney E. (Ted) and Frances; uncles Lucien and Allan; aunts-in-law Evelyn and Peggy; niece Stacy; father-in-law Henri; mother-in-law Lucina; sister-in-law Annette. Eric was born on August 3, 1952 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He married Nicole LeGras on May 11, 1985. Eric enjoyed his years working for Hydro (Centra Gas). Eric's favourite pastimes were hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking, his ham radio (call sign VE4EPC) and just sitting outside relaxing. As per Eric's wishes there will be no formal funeral services. There will be a come and go in August to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rescue Siamese & Stray Cats, rescuesiamese.com
