Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY (MARGARET) LORENA WILSON (nee SMALLENBERG) August 10, 1925 - November 11, 2013 Peacefully on Monday, November 11, 2013, Margaret Wilson passed away at the Concordia Personal Care Home with family at her side. Margaret was born in Brandon, MB and raised in Rapid City, MB, along with four siblings: Bob, Odie, Audrey and Bonnie. She eventually moved to Winnipeg and called it home. Left to cherish Margaret's memory are her daughters Dianne Brennen, Dawn Tucker (Rex), Leslie Wilson (Brian) and Susan Gooding. She also leaves behind sisters, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends. Margaret loved her career as a Paralegal and was well respected by the lawyers and peers at the various law firms where she was employed. Margaret and her husband Bill enjoyed their many road trips in Canada and the USA, and made many friends along the way. Mom was a very strong and independent lady and even when Bill passed away in November 2003, she continued to have a positive outlook on life. She continued her outings to the McPhillips Street Station, where she also had many friends. The family would like to thank the staff on the third floor at Concordia Place for the care she received the five years she lived there. Also a special thanks to Lucelyn S., who was her personal caregiver and was like family. Wojcik's Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 2157 Portage Avenue, (204) 897-4665, is in care of arrangements. wojciksfuneralchapel.com. In lieu of flowers, give a senior a hug today.
