Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE TODORUK Anne Todoruk (nee Wojnarski) born on February 27, 1918 in Horod, Manitoba, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2013, with her family by her side at Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg. Anne was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Nicholas Todoruk in 1978; and her daughter Eileen Cartwright in 2004. Anne is survived by her sons Alvin Todoruk, Tom (Shannon) Todoruk and daughter Sharon Wachal and son-in-law Lorin Cartwright. Grandchildren Lance (Cynthia) Cartwright, Brad Wachal, Maureen (Mike) Macintosh and Lisa (Trevor) Rowe, Jordan (Amanda) Todoruk, Megan and Amy Todoruk. Great-grandchildren Breeann and Brennen Wachal, Krystin and Jory Rowe and Dakota Macintosh. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Ogibowski. Anne enjoyed working at Economy Drugs in Winnipeg for 26 years. After retirement, Anne continued to work as a volunteer with the Sisters Mission of Charity, perogy making for the Church, and spending time visiting with people who needed company. Anne enjoyed making puzzles, her doll collection, and her plants that thrived under her care. She spent her later years creating beautiful crochet afghans, that her friends and family will cherish for many years. She was an active member of the Luther Home Day program. Anne enjoyed playing cards and board games with friends and family. A memorial service in her memory will be held on Thursday, November 28 at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, 730 McPhillips Ave at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

sending my condolences to the family of Anne's passing-- so glad to have had a warm visit with Anne on the phone this past Oct. 2013 just bfore coming on vacation to Barbados Oct.16th/13 -- had many fun times visiting Anne with Eileen, bringing in K.F.C for supper, playing cards & many times getting dressed at @ her apt. for halloween or just spending the nite with her, dressing her dolls, always had much fun & laughs-- God bless her & may she rest in peace!! - Posted by: Maria Chanel (friend) on: Dec 02, 2013
