RAMHARAKH (SAMUEL) ARJUN Ramharakh "Samuel" Arjun, 85, of Guyana, passed away peacefully November 26, 2013 at Victoria General Hospital at 9:36 a.m., surrounded by his family. Arjun was born in Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo May 3, 1928 and is survived by his wife Sookdeya Arjun, his only and eldest sister Inez Pitamber, his four "4" sons and daughters-in-law: Ganga, Ralph (Nero), Bheesham (Neraji), Balram ( Parbattie) and three "3" daughters and sons-in-law: Bano (Ivan), Shanta (Tony), and Sheukumarie (Krishna). He will be missed by his 22 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Arjun will be remembered as a devoted Hindu, especially at the Tuschen Hindu temple in Guyana, as a loving husband, a hard working father, and a teacher to his grandchildren. He had a passion for farming, and a great love for cricket. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 30 at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard, Winnipeg, MB R3T 5Y4.
