It was such a surprise to hear from my parents that Aunt Bertha passed away. I looked forward to reading her letters to my family every Christmas. I remember the fun times we had at the Airport and the times she came to visit my Nana after grandad passed, those memories will always stay with me. Dear Mel and Julie and family, Our sincere sympathy in the loss of your mother. A very interesting woman, thank you for sharing her story. From my apprenticeship in Swan River, and visiting relatives north from there, many of the places are familiar. - Posted by: Isabel Acheson (nee Fraser0 (friend of Mel and Julie) on: Dec 01, 2013
