Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLADYS KAY SANTIAGUEL ORDONEZ VOLUNTAD June 13, 1978 - November 28, 2013 Gladys Kay Santiaguel Ordonez Voluntad - passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital with her loving family by her side, on November 28, 2013 at the age of 35. Gladys will be greatly missed by her best friend and loving husband, Richard Voluntad, and their children Brandon, Lyric, Willa and Caine; her parents, Efren and Dora (Pando) Ordonez; her grandfather Augusto Ordonez; her siblings Jeff (Jen), Jesuzaine (Dan Edwards), Jade and Lin; her nieces and nephews Phoenixx, Orchid, Sapphire, Indigo, Jett and Lincoln. She will be lovingly remembered by her aunts and uncles Tikyo (Noring), Puring, Jaime Ong, Dee (Onnie), Unthee (Thotie Sico), Nica (Willie Urrutia), and Ading (Dante Genido), as well as David (Caring), Yolly (Boy Legaspi), Abie (Edith), Orie (Eseng Ramirez) and numerous cousins. She will also be missed by the Voluntad and Golondrina family: her parents-in-law Art and Antonette, and her brother-in-law Oliver and sister-in-law Lisa (John Raymundo). Gladys was a strong, positive person, who stood up for what she believed in instead of following the crowd, and lived by the saying "if you don't stand up for what you believe in, you'll fall for anything". She was a loving, caring, kind and reasonable person. She was always there for her loved ones and even if they came to her with a difficult problem she would do her best to support their decisions and always made sure to steer them in the right direction. Her life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. The family would like to thank all of those who offered their prayers. Also, thank you to the staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital in the E.R., 3rd Floor Unit 4 and I.C.U. for their care and support. Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 5 and Friday, December 6 from 6:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. (midnight ) at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. A funeral service will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens on Saturday, December 7 at 10:00 a.m., celebrated by Rev. Pastor Ruel Camia. ***Lunch will follow thereafter.

Gladys I would just like to say that you were and always will be a wonderful person inside and out, and I'm glad to have known you.. Gladys in the short life you have lived you have made such a big impact in all your family and friends and for that we thank you.. Your children and siblings will continue to live by your standards and beliefs. We will cherish all the good times and your beautiful smile. I will always remember Gladys' smiling face every Sunday at church. And it was wonderful to watch her grow up - from a shy little girl to a caring and confident young woman. My sister meant the world to me. We were so alike that she knew how to give me advice from her own experiences. I looked up to her growing up. She was like a second mom to me. I miss you, Ate. I want to thank you for showing me how strong I could be everyday, for answering my calls at 3am in the morning to hear me cry about temporary problems and for being so affectionate towards me when I needed it the most.
