MARIA VALDEMIRA VASCONCELOS Peacefully on December 1, 2013 at Health Sciences Centre, Maria Vasconcelos passed away at the age of 88 years. Maria leaves to mourn her passing her children Joe (Maria) and Margaret (Wayne); grandchildren Wayne, Lesley (Kevan), Melissa (Graeme) and Michael who brought her great joy, and great-granddaughter Isabella who always put a smile on her face. She is also survived by her sister Cesaltina as well as nephews and nieces in Boston. She was predeceased by her husband Abilio, and son Herberto. Maria was born in Sao Miguel, Azores and immigrated to Canada in 1966 with her husband and children.
